Review of Midsummer House

A word of caution - don't give this company your credit card number. We booked for 4 people but on the night we had an extra guest. They said they couldn't accomodate us so we made other arrangements. Without telling us and without my authority they took 168 pounds from my credit card. Trading standards said they had no authority to do so. My credit card company agreed that Midsummer house had taken money from my account without authority and refunded the money.

Quite aside from this, the one time I did eat at this restuarant I found the food overpriced and uninteresting. The service is intrusive and annoying.

My advice, stay away.
