We went to Midsummer House on Saturday 14th feb. Valentines day. From the moment we entered until we left the whole experience was excellent. Our champagne that we had previously ordered was chilling at our table, and was served through out the evening with unhindering style. The menu was presented and cooked excellently..the seared scallops just melted in the mouth..and as for the fillet steak...heaven. My only critism I would have was the bill at the end of the night was a bit slow at being presented (We had a train to catch!), but the caramel chocolate petit four given too us on our departure more than made up for that. An overall excellent evening and well worth the cost.
