No reservations on Saturday evenings

My wife and I have eaten in Browns on several occasions when we have visited Cambridge, and have had a enjoyable meal with good sevice each time.

Next weekend we are in Cambridge again and this time we will be with friends and so I wanted to book a table at Browns early Saturday evening before going to the theatre. When I rung to make a reservation I was told that do not take them for parties less than 10 people on Saturday evenings, and we would have to take potluck on getting a table. I think this is a bad policy because as in our case we can't take the chance as we have a fairly tight time schedule and must now find an alternative restaurant that will allow us to make a reservation
