More credit card problems!

We dined at the Midsummer House in June and I thought the food was very good, despite what Mr Winner says in his Sunday Times review (Aug 17 2003).

There was however one curious incident with my credit card - when I received my statement I saw that the restaurant had added over 20 pounds to my bill, and I had my signed CC receipt to prove it.

I called the restaurant and they figured, after some research, that someone had inadvertently forgotten to add the service charge to my bill, and so it was added later.

That may be so, but I don't like people taking money from me without me knowing, so I requested a refund, which I received.
